| The Pedestal Mounted Offshore Crane (PMOC, see picture) is specially designed for use at the side of a drilling rig or offshore vessel. The radius and very small use of deck space make this crane a fine tool at the deck of these rigs. | |
| The PMOC is an auxiliary crane specially
made for pipe- and equipment handling on rigs. Limited deep-water
capabilities are also possible. The PMOCs are applicable for harbour/ sheltered water, offshore platform, supply boat and seabed lifts. The pedestal takes up limited deck space and has a limited tail swing. The crane pedestal contains a rectangular footprint, ensuring improved transfer of loads into the vessels hull. |

With use of a traction
winch and storage winch the PMOC is very suitable for ultra
deep water lifts. |
