The Multi Purpose tower can be installed on a installation vessel. On a skidding frame on the aft deck many peaces of equipment can be parked.
Lowering and retrieving modules and other equipment is a easy action.

Well Intervention Unit (MPT on Vessel)
The Huisman module handling package has the following advantages:
Small mast installation area.

  • One fully active and passive compensated deepwater lift winch system usable for both cranes

  • Auxiliarly winch system of knuckeboom crane has full active heave compensation capabilities

  • Integrated elevating workplatform with windwall increasing the safety of work

  • System is capable of lifting 55 mt at 3000m waterdepth (with some restrictions in hoisting speed and permissable seastate)

  • Heavy components located at low elevations => low CoG.

  • The sub-sea recovery procedure enables safe and efficient recovery of sub-sea modules.

  • In case of damage, the boxgirder structure of the MPT remains safer than a lattice structure.
