The specifications of the MPC: |

The MPC is 88 by 195 meters and the deck has a free space of 10,444 m2. The hoisting capacity (with special gantry) is 15,000 tonnes. The vessel has lifting capacity up to 30,000 tons and Carrying capacity up to 90,000 tons. |

An added A-frame (see picture) lifts up to 9,000t at 150m. Its motion behaviour and competitive speed (service speed 12 knots -free sailing-), in cooperation with the submerging capability (also in transit) makes it an unique design. |

The "semi submersible" Multi Purpose Catamaran concept will be available for transport and installation of Spar and Mono-Hull TLP as primary function. Besides this market the vessel will be available for (de)commissioning, extreme transports and field development. |

| The MPC can load and dock ALL existing drilling semi subs and dock them for thruster repair. Stability is adequate for a 35,000 tonnes load at 32.5 m above the main deck of the Barge. This assumes docking blocks of 5.8 m height, allowing thruster repairs. High cargo centres of gravity have been assumed such that a variety of other loads could be carried as well. |
