Safety

The JBF 12 000 (see picture) is an optimised compact deepwater semi-submersible mobile offshore drilling unit with a 12,000 ft water depth capacity. The JBF 12 000 is a fully mechanised and standardised rig using today's existing technology and container logistic systems for all tubular logistics. The JBF 12 000 design is concentrated around the well construction process to improve the efficiency, safety and the environmental aspects of the drilling operation. The JBF 12 000 has a low CAPEX and only 60% of the displacement compared with the 5th generation semi-submersibles.
