Products - Floating sheerlegs

A special kind of these types of cranes is the Rambiz.
This is an ocean going twin hull lifting vessel, equipped with 2 x 1350t cranes.

This lifting vessel is originally built in 1996 to build the Vasco di Gama bridge in Lisbon, Portugal. The Rambiz (see picture) is modified after the project.

Floating sheerlegs are part of the scope of supply of Huisman-Itrec since 1981. Huisman-Itrec was then awarded with the order of engineering and manufacturing the Taklift 4 (see picture), a 1600t floating sheerleg for Smit Tak.
Later orders brought the capacity for Huisman Floating Sheerlegs up to 3200t. We have also a design for a skiddable A-frame, at which both the lifting and transport are possible.
